Created for Amazon Prime Video’s promotional campaign for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Snow Troll reimagines one of the series’ most iconic creatures as a handcrafted bas-relief sculpture using natural sand and sustainably collected seashells.

 

As part of the campaign, I documented the creative process and shared the finished artwork across my social media channels to build excitement ahead of the series launch. Working from official production reference imagery, I translated the highly detailed digital character into a tactile work of art by individually selecting and placing each shell to recreate the troll’s rugged anatomy, texture, and expression. The process video was later featured by Amazon Prime Video alongside content from other selected campaign creators.
